I felt a little out of place being a man but I visited as my wife wanted me near and so I obliged her. I've visited three times now and I have been accepted and made to feel welcome in this beautiful, spiritual place. But a word of warning: you are required to remove your shoes. At the conclusion of our last visit, as I put my shoes back on, my wife asked me to pay for a Goddess effigy, and as I approached the attendant Goddess devotee to pay for this item I was shooed away and escorted from the sacred area with great histrionic fervour which had the effect of breaking the spell with a crash and a thud. I felt foolish to say the least, and felt the reaction was akin to opening a nut with a lump hammer. If I had have entered a nearby church - there are many worth visiting in Glastonbury - with my hat on, I doubt the reaction would have been anything near as fervent. But I shouldn't let something like this put me off as this is a beautiful place to visit and in well worth your time if you are female or of a spiritual bent.

Lovely place with beautiful rooms and staff . Have enjoyed a couple of treatments here too.

Revisited today disappointed more like a children's play group a young child unsettled and a young girl running about then playing at the water fountain and almost knocked over lit candles couldn't get to meditate I thought this was a place for reflection and contemplation

Beautiful, sacred temple. The Priestesses were wonderful. I came here to grieve and was treated with so much care and support while emotional. Eager to go back to this wonderful sanctuary.

This is really a magic place! I received the most blissful Goddess massage and felt completely regenerated. I can't wait to visit again.

I adore coming here and the ladies that supervise the temple for visitors are so lovely and patient. They have seasonal displays which are absolutely beautiful and it’s such a relaxing space to spend as much time as you like in. Really do need to come here more now that we live closer. Also - if you are going to visit here, you remove your shoes at the door because it’s a sacred space. If you don’t like it, don’t visit. When I was there last time, someone got all uppity about why they should take their shoes off and ended up being told to leave. There’s a chair there so you can sit down to remove your shoes. If you plan ahead a little, perhaps wear shoes that can be taken off with ease when you get there. It’s not as easy for some people who are less mobile/able to bend down but they do provide a chair and try to make it as easy as possible for you, so please be respectful of that.

The Glastonbury Goddess Temple has beautiful energies. We meditate here every time we visit. The Melissae within are divine. A place for worship, visions, guidance, cleansing, healing.

I specifically drive all the way from London to get here and to the shops below. If you are pagan or spiritual, you will love this temple. I spend between 20-60 mins just sitting there meditating. It’s very peaceful and the energy is very positive. If you ask one of the temple volunteers they will give you a sacred cleanse and blessings.

I was surprised by this place. Very innocuous and out of the way despite all the tourists. Once in there (It took my second attempt to go in) I didn't want to leave. It was honesly the most peacefull place ever. I was looking at the people coming in and they were so chilled. I saw people there I wished I'd talked to but never did.. Spiritual love and harmony to the Goddess temple Forever in my prayers x
