Always loved this shop whenever we visit Glastonbury but today put a dampner on our visit. Perhaps caught on a bad day (I hope) but the gentleman behind the counter not very responsive when tried to engage in friendly conversation when visited with partner and young boys and upon the boys becoming rather excited (as kids do!) at seeing hand puppets for sale and trying a couple out the man blurted out "I can't stand this!" And rattled his keys as if wanting to shut up shop. I was a little shocked and apologised as the boys are only 5 and 7 and do get a little hyper at times and were being managed throughout the shop. It doesn't cost a lot to be kind and understanding as parenting is hard as it is without made to feel worse by other people. Either that or pop a sign on the door saying "No Children Allowed". Just a suggestion.
