Matt has done various electrical works for us since we moved into our new (but old!) cottage just outside Wells. We would totally recommend Matt because a) he does exactly what he says he’s going to do b) exactly when he says he’s going to do it and c) charges exactly what he’s says he’s going to charge. All of this PLUS he communicates clearly and regularly, gives great safety advice and offers to do additional work where he feels it’s needed. He leaves everything clean and tidy, and the quality of his work is 100%. He also has some really nifty ideas for making life easier (smart thermostats, smart plugs, wireless switches etc) It’s been hard finding trustworthy tradespeople since moving to the area. We hired Matt a few times now and he has always done an outstanding job. He is reliable, pays attention to the details and explains what options are available which is invaluable as so many tradesmen seem to install whatever is the easiest for them, not the client (e.g. we had other electricians before who didn’t bother checking or explaining things and we ended up with very harsh lighting in one room).
